This is the 3rd year in which Eyeball has teamed up with VH1 to design a hot Intro & Show Package for the Annual award show Hip Hop Honors.
The retro iconography comprises a city built inside a layout of the logo, in which people are celebrating in a Macy’s Day Parade-meets-political rally environment. The revelers are blasted with black and gold confetti while microphone balloons fly above and floats made of record players and gold chains glide by.

HGTV approached Eyeball for help in creating a dynamic show open for their new series 'The World's Most Extreme Homes'. HGTV supplied footage from the upcoming season and asked for a design that provided the viewer with a good overview of the show content and an insight into the personality of the hostess.
I sifted through the footage to create a best-of selection from the variety of architectural forms found throughout. I wanted to create an interesting journey through the open without falling back on additional design elements as a crutch. With a title like 'The World's Most Extreme Homes' there should be no reason to look for additional content.
Another spot in the Eyeball/Best Buy family. Using the retailer's signature colors we filled the screen with make-believe pre-holiday preparations.
It was an interesting design challenge to show scale & massive architecture, develop friendly machinery, incorporate live-action footage of dancing employees, all while working in the limited Blue & Yellow palate.
VH1 came to us with the art of Kehinde Wiley. They requested a grand show open & package that was built around Kehindes paintings.
We found several locations in upstate NY to shoot interior & exterior photography of castles which we filled with his paintings of Hip Hop Allstars.
The show package was designed around this style by finding elements from within Wileys paintings to break out into individual deliverables.
Chains, Trucks, Sparks, Dirt, & Country Music. What more do you need to create a dynamic Show Open for CMTs Outlaws?
We had fun with this one, taking existing footage of the Country Music stars and adding them to our industrial landscape.

Eyeball created a series of endtags for Charles Schwab finding ways to add personality to the 'Talk to Chuck' brand.
This was a great opportunity to play with a reduced design and experiment with type as character.
Shooting characters in elaborate costumes on green screen, we composited these characters in fun environments
to create holiday-specific micro-narratives. Over the course of the year we created a series of Holiday ID's that were very much in-line with the Comedy Central brand.
Newly launched Tracfone phone service provider approached us to create several spots for their in-store promotions at Target stores accross the US. We incorporated Live-action footage into reduced graphic backdrops to create simple narratives of people enoying the pay-as-you-go service.
A Highly textural Toolkit developed for Comedy Central.
This project was a blast. We jumped at the chance to play with colors & forms that expanded the CC brand.
Each item was delivered in 8 color schemes allowing a wide variety of elements for the On-Air Editors to pull from.

This was a fun project to be a part of.
Eyeball was looking to rebrand their website with the look developed in their 2007 reel.
I put together packaging for the DVD reel as well as edited and designed a book and t-shirt to be sent as additional promotion items.
